Irradiation/Chemical Crosslinked Polyethylene Foam is a type of closed-cell polyethylene foam produced using either chemical crosslinking agents or electron beam irradiation. The internal cells are completely sealed, giving the material a fine and uniform texture. This environmentally friendly material is lightweight, non-toxic, and odorless. It features excellent waterproofing, thermal insulation, soundproofing, shock absorption, weather resistance, oil resistance, and resistance to acids and chemical solvents, making it an outstanding cushioning foam material. Due to its superior physical properties, it is widely used as inner padding for toolboxes, water sports products (such as kickboards and life vests), sporting goods (such as protective gear, insoles, yoga mats, and baby play mats), and in public or household piping projects. |
