Expanded Polyethylene Foam (EPE), also known as Pearl Cotton or Teguron, is made by physical foaming of low-density polyethylene resin, creating numerous independent gas bubbles. EPE features a non-crosslinked closed-cell structure, has a high recycling rate, very low water absorption, is lightweight and pure white in color. It provides sound insulation, thermal insulation, cooling retention, and excellent cushioning and shock absorption. It is 100% non-toxic and odorless, widely used in electronics, bicycle export packaging, hand tool case liners, furniture, agricultural product protection, and various industrial cushioning packaging applications. |
