Expanded Polyethylene Foam(EPE)

◆ Expanded Polyethylene Foam (EPE)
◆ Commonly known as Pearl Cotton.
◆ Made from low-density polyethylene resin through physical foaming with gas, creating numerous independent bubbles.
◆ Non-crosslinked closed-cell structure with very low water absorption.
◆ Lightweight material.
◆ Excellent cushioning and shock absorption.
◆ Environmentally friendly and recyclable.
◆ 100% non-toxic and odorless.
◆ Widely used in protective cushioning packaging.
◆ Material can be colored by adding masterbatch or enhanced with antistatic agents to increase electrical resistance.

Expanded Polyethylene Foam (EPE), also known as Pearl Cotton or Teguron, is made by physically foaming low-density polyethylene resin with gas to create numerous independent bubbles.

EPE features a non-crosslinked closed-cell structure, has a high recycling rate, extremely low water absorption, is lightweight and clean white in color. It provides sound insulation, thermal insulation, cooling, and excellent cushioning and shock absorption. It is 100% non-toxic and odorless, and is widely used in electronics, bicycle export packaging, tool case padding, furniture, agricultural product protection, and various industrial cushioning packaging applications.
